JOB OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual for a Mechanical Estimator position at our Woodbridge office

REQUIREMENTS

• Basic understanding of Mechanical construction work
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Ability to work under pressure and adaptable to change
• Strong computer skills in such areas as Microsoft Excel, Word, AutoCad etc.
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Excellent planning and time management skills

• Performing accurate take offs manually and/or using electronic estimating software for Plumbing & HVAC work
• Read, analyze and review bid packages/requirements/specifications
• Assist in preparing tender submissions and obtaining tender documents
• Coordination with sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure timely bid submissions and accurate quotations
• Prioritizing work based on tender timelines
• Attending site visits if required
• Maintain good relationship with the Client, General contractors, Consultants & suppliers
