THE ROLE

As a Mechanical Estimator at Sale Group, you will play a critical role in the pre-construction phase, preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical projects, including plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems. You will work closely with project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure estimates align with project specifications and budgets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyse mechanical drawings, specifications, and blueprints to prepare detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and source pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop cost-effective solutions and tender submissions.
• Prepare pre-qualification documents and support bid presentations to clients.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to clarify project requirements.
• Monitor industry trends and pricing to ensure competitive bids.
• Support project handover to ensure seamless transition to the delivery team.
