OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual with mechanical, welding and fabrication experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and have experience in repairing and diagnosing various types of machinery, vehicles and commercial trucks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment, contributing to overall efficiency and safety within our operations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Class 1 Driver’s License is a must.
• Experience as a mechanic and fabricator/welder or in a similar role within the commercial trucking, automotive or machinery field.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications or training in mechanics and/or welding is preferred but not mandatory.

  Pay: $24.00-$35.00 per hour

• Diagnose mechanical issues and body damage to determine the necessary repairs or replacements.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools and welding.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
• Work independently and as part of a team to keep fleet equipment safe and operational as well as special projects.
