Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

Take on a new challenge and apply your trade expertise in this opportunity for Alstom. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining the Velocity Fleet at our Ballarat East depot. This role will be night shift only, 4 days on and 4 days off.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Performing fault diagnosis, identification and rectification on both the electrical and mechanical systems of the vehicle
  • Performing a range of tasks to test, repair, overhaul or modify rail vehicles in the braking, traction, suspension, and other related rail vehicle systems
  • Assist in the identification and production of vehicle modification programs to improve reliability and maintainability
  • Performing post work testing and validation as necessary
