Responsibilities

As the Mechanical Fitter your primary focus will be to perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to ensure the operational readiness and performance of these critical assets for the Royal Australian Navy.
This role is integral to maintaining the highest standards of reliability, safety, and functionality in a challenging and highly technical environment.

To be successful in this position you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Trade
  • Current forklift license and driver’s licence
  • High level of hydraulic and pneumatic system understanding
  • Understanding of quality principles and procedures
  • Understanding of submarine and ship systems
