Are you passionate about large defence projects? Babcock Australasia are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team, supporting the Collins Class Submarines for the Royal Australian Navy.

As the Mechanical Fitter your primary focus will be to perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to ensure the operational readiness and performance of these critical assets for the Royal Australian Navy.
This role is integral to maintaining the highest standards of reliability, safety, and functionality in a challenging and highly technical environment.

To be successful in this position you will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Trade
• Current forklift license and driver’s licence
• High level of hydraulic and pneumatic system understanding
• Understanding of quality principles and procedures
• Understanding of submarine and ship systems
