This position will be based at our Factory in Brigg, North Lincolnshire. The working hours for this role are 39 hours per week, inclusive of an earlier leave on a Friday (Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:00, Friday 07:30 – 15:00).

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Mechanical Trades or Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline is preferred.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing/construction/Facilities environment.
  • Formal training / certification in any of the above.
  • At least 3 years’ relevant experience.
  • Basic computer knowledge essential.
  • Proven track record in Preventative and Reactive Maintenance in a similar environment.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out a range of maintenance duties to cover mechanical, electrical machinery and equipment.
  • To carry out planned preventative maintenance on all equipment under our control as per the Plant program.
  • Proactively identify and remedy equipment maintenance issues, to avoid equipment downtime.Using welding and fabrication expertise to create / repair equipment and structures.
  • Servicing of electrical, mechanical and non-technical equipment.
  • To carry out fault resolution and repairs to broken down equipment.
  • Maintain appropriate records in line with requirements.
  • Assist in the installation of new plant and equipment.
  • Ensure all works are completed and closed within the agreed timeframe.
  • Sourcing and ordering of spare parts as required to ensure minimum stock levels are maintained in accordance with client requirements.
  • Work in compliance with all Health and Safety requirements.
  • Ensure that all work carried out is in compliance with all current regulations.
  • Carry out PPM’s on equipment as required.
