THE CLIENT

Seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their continuing expanding manufacturing plant. Located in the Snowy Mountains/Monaro region you will report directly to the Engineering Supervisor and deliver technical expertise and support including fault-finding, troubleshooting and maintenance across the Manufacturing plant. Based in the township of Bombala, you could live 1 hour from some of the most spectacular coastline in Australia and 1.5 hours to the ski fields!
Only candidates who are currently living in Australia with full working rights will be short-listed for this position.

SKILLS

• Minimum Cert III in Mechanical Fitting with 5 years’ experience
• Experience in welding on both heavy MIG, TIG or ARC
• Good Communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Outstanding fault finding and problem solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and get the job done.
• Strong understanding and adherence to WHS protocols
• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test and Medical
• Additional tickets such as Forklift, WCS and EWP would be highly regarded
