Description:
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Maintaining all areas of mechanical equipment to the highest standard to ensure plant availability.
- Execute daily preventative maintenance tasks as per planned Maintenance Schedule for each week.
- Plan to achieve 85% planned work each week from the maintenance schedule.
- Carry out maintenance activities as per instructions from Maintenance Supervisor and Assistant Supervisor on a daily basis.
- Ensure Apprentices/Trainees are trained and supported with their career development with onjob training.
- Take personal responsibility for accurate completion of work to achieve maintenance budget plan.
- Support and encourage the SafeWork system with all maintenance personnel.
- Embed and drive an aligned culture that creates success.
- Aim for Zero harm/incidents.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping both in the workshop and on the job.
Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and Assistant Maintenance Supervisor you will perform preventative maintenance of plant and equipment in accordance with OEM recommendations and manuals with a focus on maintaining safety. As a Maintenance Plant Fitter, you will work to achieving assigned KPI’s to achieve the McArthur River Mine Metallurgy Strategy.
