The Opportunity Downer’s Energy & Utilities team is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team at Eraring Power Station, Lake Macquarie, NSW. In this role, you’ll work on maintaining fixed plant equipment, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values collaboration and safety above all. About You Trade Qualified: Mechanical Fitter with experience in heavy industry or power station environments. Safety First: Committed to the wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues. Technically Skilled: Proficient in the safe use of hand tools and equipment. Team Player: Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Site Ready: Full working rights in Australia, White Card, Working at Heights, and Confined Space tickets (valid within 3 years). Willing to complete a pre-employment medical.
