Mechanical Fitter opportunity with Lineage Jandikot We are now seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join the team at our new Jandikot facility in WA. In this hands-on role, you will play a key part in ensuring our critical assets operate safely, reliably and efficiently while supporting a strong safety culture across the site. Please note: This role has an on-call component. Once you are up and running you will be required to be on stand-by for a week at a time and to cover people on leave - you'll receive a $300 p/w allowance and payment if there is an on-call situation on site. Flexibility is required here. Hours are 7am-3pm - on call may happen week off /on or to cover during leave absences. About the role Reporting to the Facilities Maintenance Manager, WA, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and equipment across the site, ensuring safe and continuous operation at all times. . Key responsibilities include: Performing routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical equipment Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults efficiently and safely Installing and assembling mechanical components and systems Interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and specifications Liaising with other trades, contractors and departments to coordinate work Maintaining accurate maintenance records and job reports Safety comes first — always Safety is at the heart of everything we do at Lineage. What you’ll bring We’re looking for someone who is trade-qualified and safety-driven, with: Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent) Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in manufacturing or industrial environments Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Valid driver’s licence and ability to work flexible hours / overtime as needed Physical fitness to perform manual tasks (lifting, climbing, standing for periods) Commitment to safe work practices and site policies Desirable (not essential): Welding and fabrication skills Our values At Lineage, our culture is built on Safety, Trust, Respect, Innovation, Boldness and Servant Leadership — and we live these every day in the way we work and support each other Why Lineage?
