Working on a 5-2, 4-3-day roster 10h daily.    We also have an opportunity availble for those who may need to work around School Hours and/or Part-time.   We are in Care & Maintenance and a small team working together you will be carrying out daily task of PM inspections, break down maintenance and repair work within the plant & around site EG: Acid plant, Effluent plant, convertors, Furnace, flux plant, general repairs on leaking water lines, air lines.   In this role you will:   •    Work on rotating machinery, lubrication systems, hydraulics and pneumatics conveying systems, conveyor belts, chain conveyors, pumps, acid plant area valves, pipe work, water lines around site, air lines around site, maintenance at the water dams etc.•    Inspect, diagnose, service and repair of fixed plant equipment.•    Must be able to work alone and make decisions under pressure•    Utilise computerised maintenance management systems•    Maintaining a high level of housekeeping in the workshops & in the field•    Undertaking training and upskilling as required•    Forklift & EWP licence advantage but not essential training providedAbout You     Relevant Mechanical Trade Qualification (Essential) •    Previous experience working in fixed plant maintenance.•    Computer literacy and experience in 1SAP or Fiori or similar applications•    Current full WA Drivers Licence•    Flexible, team oriented, approach with proactive communication skills •    Strong commitment to safety, effective teamwork, and performing under pressure to meet deadlines.    About Our Process    At BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
