What We Offer • FIFO Shutdown from Perth to Port Hedland • Scope – 3rd March up to 13th March • Roster - 12-hour shifts working Days & Nights • Nightshift Allowance - 15% uplift • Variety of future works as part of our shutdown circuit team The Opportunity Downer’s Energy & Utilities business is seeking qualified and experienced Mechanical Fitter`s to join us for a shutdown in Port Hedland, WA. The initial work scope includes routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of a variety of equipment types such as dust and diesel systems, chutes & liners, and conveyor roller. To be successful in this role you will need to available from 23rd February for inductions, picking up PPE and onboarding. Successful candidates will also join our talent pools for future works across remote and regional WA. About You • Trade Certificate III Engineering Mechanical Trade • Construction Induction / White Card • Gas Test Atmospheres, Working at Heights, and Enter and Work in Confined Spaces within 5 years • Fire Certificate within 5 years • Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) – Highly desirable • Prior experience in a FIFO role performing Mechanical duties About Energy & Utilities Downer's Energy & Utilities business unit is an integrated trans-Tasman team, providing services and solutions that connect communities to essential networks and infrastructure.
