ABOUT THE ROLE

Downer is seeking skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanics, Technicians, or Fitters to join our team in Brisbane, QLD . This hybrid role offers a mix of workshop and field-based responsibilities , maintaining and repairing heavy plant machinery and trucks across multiple sites. No two days are the same—ideal for those who thrive in a fast-paced, safety-first environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance on heavy plant machinery and trucks
• Provide breakdown support and fault diagnostics in the field
• Ensure all work meets Downer’s safety and operational standards
• Collaborate with a skilled team while also working independently
