UGL Industrials have an opportunity for a qualified and suitably experienced Mechanical Fitter for our Workshop located at Bennetts Green. This is a permanent role that will see you working on our clients Power Station assets across NSW. This position is Monday - Friday 38hours per week. This position is a residential role with no living away from home provisions or facility for non-local employees. Local applicants from the Newcastle region are strongly encouraged to apply. To be considered for the role, ideally you will possess the following skills, experience and attributes: Australian Recognised Trade Certificate – Mechanic Driver’s Licence High Risk Work Licence – LF highly regarded Nationally accredited Working at Heights certification valid within 3 years Nationally accredited Confined Space certification valid within 3 years Previous experience with pressure vessels and heat exchanges desirable Ability to work effectively in a small team High levels of attention to detail Excellent communication skills Great time management skills Please note a rigorous pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening will be conducted for short-listed candidates.
