MECHANICAL FOREMAN - FULL-TIME, PERMANENT (DUBLIN)

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Foreman to join our team. This is a full-time permanent role that will be predominantly based in Dublin.

SKILLS & EDUCATION REQUIRED

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Mechanical Trade Qualification.
  • Proven capability in construction delivery.
  • Proficient in IT.
  • Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) standards.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate a team on site.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the required standard.
  • Complete mechanical takeoffs for quantities.
  • Deliver performance in line with the project schedule.
  • Manage mechanical plant and materials required for your team to complete works.
  • Plan ahead for resources and labour allocation for site activities.
  • Oversee and participate in all mechanical installations.
  • Collaborate closely with all project teams to ensure the schedule is followed and service delivery is excellent.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and report on daily progress, delays, and resource needs.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Support the training and development of apprentices and junior staff.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to technical specifications.
  • Participate in site meetings and contribute to planning and coordination efforts.
  • Identify and resolve on-site issues proactively to avoid delays or rework.
