Description

KNOWLEDGE/ QUALIFICATION/ TRAINING/ CERTIFICATION:

  • 5 -10 years’ experience in the industrial buildings industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and holding an engineering license to practice in Alberta
  • Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other 3D CAD platforms would be an asset..
Responsibilities
  • Consult on HVAC system and equipment design for a wide range of projects, and work with other engineers, project managers, and construction professionals as needed to create and/or modify design parameters.
  • Analyze HVAC systems and equipment when necessary to find inefficiencies or malfunctions and create solutions to resolve operational issues, optimize performance and/or increase the efficiency of operation.
  • Communicate directly with customers to understand project requirements, goals, design specifications, and operational environments to evaluate cost, feasibility, and implementation of HVAC equipment.
  • Create and submit detailed bids that outline costs and timelines for projects.
  • Develop and oversee all aspects of engineering deliverables production, computer modelling and construction document packaging including project and interdisciplinary coordination, and directing drafting.
  • On-site installation and system operation verification of HVAC system installations
