MECHANICAL HVAC TECHNICIAN

  • Location: Johnstown, PA
  • Pay Rate: $17.00 - $24.00 an hour - Or more based on experience
  • Schedule: Day Shift: Monday to Friday

What will you be doing?We are looking for a detail-oriented HVAC Technician to help us install, maintain, and repair heating/cooling systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning air quality equipment and performing maintenance procedures as well as providing emergency repairs when necessary.

  • MechanicalHVAC Technician responsibilities include talking with customers about their HVAC needs, performing maintenance and installations as needed and prioritizing calls based on business goals.
  • Work with customers to ensure their HVAC units always run smoothly and perform necessary installations and repairs.
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
  • Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
  • Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
  • Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
  • Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
  • Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
  • Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers’ requirements.
  • Assisting with customers’ queries.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What are the Job Requirements?

  • Proven work experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role
  • Current driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle
  • Required state licensing for HVAC technicians (preferred)
  • Certification or associate’s degree from an HVAC program at a technical school (preferred)
  • Drug Screen
