MECHANICAL/HYDRAULIC ASSEMBLER

McCormack Industries has been a family owned and operated business located in Aubigny since 1984. McCormack’s is widely renowned as “the front-end loader people” and have recently been acquired by the Digga Group. McCormack’s service the agricultural and mining sectors and manufacture products in the top of their class and consistently exceed their customers’ expectations.
We are currently seeking a mechanically minded person for a Mechanical/Hydraulic Assembler role at our Aubigny Site. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a safe and busy production environment and will not be afraid to get their hands dirty. They will be highly energetic, detail orientated and take pride in their work and working environment.
Experience in mechanics, hydraulics or machine assembly preferred.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• A background in mechanics, hydraulics or a mechanical aptitude
• Demonstrated experience and skill set relevant to assembly functions
• Ability to assemble and disassemble a wide range of mechanical components
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable and have a good work ethic
• Physically fit and able to be on your feet most of the day
• The ability to follow instructions, learn quickly and work unsupervised in order to meet deadlines.
• Reliable transportation
• Forklift licence an advantage but not essential
