Job Description Job Title: Mechanical Inspector – Balance of Plant Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Project Type: Large-Scale Thermal Power Plant Project Mobilization: June 2026 Employment Type: Full-time / Project-Based The Mechanical Inspector will be responsible for inspecting BoP-related mechanical works and ensuring that all installations are completed in accordance with approved drawings, procedures, and project quality requirements. Key Responsibilities Inspect installation works related to BoP systems Verify compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and method statements Witness site inspections and testing activities Identify and report non-conformities and technical deviations Support mechanical supervision and contractor coordination Maintain clear inspection records and daily field reporting Ensure compliance with HSE and QA/QC requirements Qualifications Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline Minimum 7 years of relevant experience Strong exposure to thermal power plant or industrial BoP systems Familiarity with field inspection and QA/QC documentation Preferred Profile Experience on utility or energy projects Good knowledge of pumps, valves, auxiliaries, and plant support systems Additional Information Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted Contract/country: Contractor/Freelance Job family: Worksite - Industrialization
