Job Description Job Title: Mechanical Inspector – Piping Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Project Type: Large-Scale Thermal Power Plant Project Mobilization: June 2026 Employment Type: Full-time / Project-Based The Mechanical Inspector will inspect piping installation activities, monitor quality compliance, and ensure that piping works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Inspect piping fabrication, installation, routing, supports, and associated activities Verify compliance with isometrics, drawings, procedures, and specifications Witness inspections, pressure tests, and related checks Report quality issues, deviations, and non-conformities Coordinate with site engineers, welding teams, and contractor representatives Support maintenance of inspection records and test reports Ensure compliance with HSE and QA/QC requirements Qualifications Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline Minimum 7 years of relevant experience Strong piping inspection experience in thermal power plant or industrial environments Good understanding of piping codes, drawings, and field installation practices Preferred Profile GCC project experience Familiarity with high-pressure and utility piping systems Additional Information Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted Contract/country: Contractor/Freelance Job family: Worksite - Industrialization
