JOB DESCRIPTION:

VX Studio Consultancy is seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a strong consultancy background and a proven track record working on high-rise building projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical inspection within consultancy firms.
• Extensive experience working on high-rise building projects is a must.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and applicable codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred).

• Inspect mechanical works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant standards.
• Monitor the installation of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and maintain detailed records of site activities.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure work is progressing according to project schedules and quality standards.
• Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and final handover of mechanical systems.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical support to the project team.
