We're seeking a passionate and skilled Mechanical Lift Maintenance Technician II to join our team and ensure the flawless operation of ski lifts, gondolas, and tram systems. In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate directly with customers and mentor Level I technicians, using your advanced diagnostic tools and technical expertise to tackle machinery challenges and uncover the root causes of malfunctions. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING As a Mechanical Lift Maintenance Technician II, you will be the expert who dives into mechanical challenges, providing top-tier maintenance and repairs to ensure lift systems operate seamlessly. Your role involves engaging with clients and guiding Level I technicians, offering solutions and fostering strong relationships through your leadership. Additionally, you'll document your successes and communications in our task management system, while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and standard operating procedures. This is a full-time, hourly position hiring at $24.00-$28.00 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications. Requirements BASIC QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma/GED equivalent. At least 2-3 years of heavy mechanical repair experience. Demonstrated experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings & prints. Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel up to 80% of the time. Ability to work in inclement weather in a mountainous environment at heights in excess of 20 feet. Authorized to work in the United States of America. Proficient in the English language. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience in ski lift maintenance & repair. Advanced experience and/or certifications in welding. At least 2-3 years of previous NDT experience (MT/PT).
