• Performing all hoisting and rigging operations using a variety of hoisting equipment, such as cranes, forklifts, etc.
• Performing routine maintenance.
• Maintaining good housekeeping practices of all work areas, tools and equipment.
• Adhering to provincial, federal and CNL regulations to provide a safe and efficient working environment.
• Attending monthly safety meetings.
• Assisting in the training, coaching and mentoring of apprentices and co-op students in safe workshop practices and procedures, including work planning, assisting and development of skills by demonstrating techniques.
• Monitoring, assessing and correcting work performance.
• Other duties as assigned by your manager.
