MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER AND TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR

Duration: Permanent
Hours: 40 per week when working shifts B & C, and 44 per week when working Shift A. This equates to an average of 41.3 hrs per week (Full Time Position).
Work Pattern: Working a 3-week rotating shift system, Monday to Friday with 30 minutes unpaid break.
- Shift A: 6:00am to 2:30pm (Shift A will work the Saturday rota from 6:00am to 10:00am)*
- Shift B: 2:00pm to 10:30pm
- Shift C: 8:00am to 4:30pm (Shift C will cover remaining call out hours on a call-out basis)
*You will be required to work every 3rd Saturday.
Salary/Rate: £39,748 plus call out premium of £5,565 per annum.
We are the largest paper sack producer in the United Kingdom and one of the major sack producers in Europe supplying the agriculture, flour, cement/building products, minerals and food industries.
We are based near Pocklington, East Yorkshire, YO41 1HS, (5 miles from Pocklington, 13 miles from York). Due to call out responsibilities we are looking for applicants who live within a 20 mile radius of the site.
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our existing team.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Qualifications in mechanical engineering
• Good knowledge of mechanical maintenance and operation of all factory machines
• Good practical mechanical ability; and ability to work under minimum supervision
