Description
Responsibilities
Lead daily operations for a data center facility, assigning work orders and providing technical and procedural training for engineering staff and subcontractors.
Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and minimize downtime.
Oversee building systems including HVAC, fire alarms, plumbing, and other mechanical infrastructure to ensure performance and compliance.
Inspect and sign off on engineering staff work to ensure completion, proper function, and optimal conditions within client spaces.
Serve as the technical lead during emergency responses and coordinate resources as needed.
Partner with clients to schedule maintenance work during off-peak times, minimizing disruption to critical operations.
Apply advanced knowledge to improve operational practices and influence new processes and standards.
Act as a mentor and coach for engineering staff, developing technical depth and leadership within the team.
