One leading manufacturer of Aerospace and MOD components are looking for a Maintenance Engineers to join their team on a full time and permanent basis, Joining a team of long servers and some highly skilled Engineers, the successful person will service, maintain and repair a range of bespoke machinery.
Carrying out maintenance, overhaul and installation work in a very clean,modern manufacturing facility. Almost laboratory environment standards on their hi tech modern machinery

• Carry out servicing and inspections on machinery in line with maintenance schedules and legal requirements.
• Develop and implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) routines, providing training where required.
• Drive continuous improvement in preventative maintenance practices across the site.
• Complete preventative servicing on all machine tools and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Liaise with suppliers for all aspects of maintenance, servicing, and parts procurement.
• Oversee and coordinate all on-site contractor work.
• Source and obtain quotations for plant and facility works.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Inspect and sign off new equipment following installation.
• Keep all maintenance records accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with procedures.
• Ensure all equipment remains fit for purpose through regular servicing.
• Monitor and maintain coolant health throughout the facility.
• Mentor and support maintenance apprentices in their development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
