Aureol Global Connections is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join our maintenance team. The role involves the inspection, repair, and ongoing maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks. Responsibilities Carry out routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems. Diagnose faults and implement effective repair solutions. Perform fittings, alignments, and adjustments to mechanical components as required. Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and report any issues promptly. Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to plan and execute maintenance schedules. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance practices. Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter. Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, fitting, and repair. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical measuring instruments. Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and ability to document work effectively. Knowledge of health and safety standards related to mechanical maintenance. Willingness to work onsite and adjust to operational needs.
