The main responsibilities of the job is to repair and maintain a variety of Sheet Metal Working machine tools. This includes undertaking a range of hydraulic and mechanical work required necessary to identify faults and repair issues in line with best practice and current H&S requirements. This is to ensure the works plant and equipment is maintained to the required standard to maximise availability, reliability and efficiency and to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all employees. You will be required to work in a safe, organised, tidy and efficient manner.

Essential Skills
CITY AND GUILDS OR NVQ QUALIFICATION IN RELEVANT MAINTENANCE SUBJECT
Mechanical fitter, experienced hydraulic, pneumatics, PLC, sensors and control systems Time served apprentice as a maintenance fitter in an industrial environment
GOOD INTERPERSONAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to make timely decisions under pressure
USE OF COSHH SHEETS (MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS)EXCELLENT PLANNING AND CO-ORDINATION SKILLS
Good coaching skills
TO PERFORM OTHER TASKS TO MAINTAIN THE FABRIC OF THE BUILDING, FIXTURES AND FITTINGS, SUPPORT EQUIPMENT AND INSTALL SUCH THINGS AS BARRIERS AND RACKING AS REQUIRED.
Identify and source spares and necessary equipment to perform the above tasks
