The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.Job Purpose To oversee the maintenance operations of mechanical equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime through effective preventive and corrective maintenance. This role involves leading troubleshooting efforts, analyzing recurring mechanical issues, and implementing solutions to prevent future failures. Key Accountability Areas Mechanical Maintenance: Oversee the development and execution of preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize unplanned downtime. Lead the troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment failures, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues. Identify recurring mechanical problems, analyze their root causes, and implement corrective measures to prevent recurring mechanical problems. Coordinate the timely and efficient execution of corrective maintenance, ensuring machinery is restored to operational status with minimal disruption. Communicate effectively with management, engineering teams, and other departments regarding laboratory operations, test results, and any relevant issues. Preventive Maintenance: Oversee and implement a preventive maintenance program for all mechanical equipment to ensure reliability and longevity. Develop and execute maintenance schedules and ensure all tasks are completed on time and to high standards. Track maintenance tasks, repairs, and equipment status, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date. Inventory Control: Oversee the maintenance of tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory to ensure adequate stock levels. Order necessary parts and materials and ensure cost-effective purchasing practices. Role Accountability HR Proficiency: Training subordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively. Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work. Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment. Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale and motivation of subordinates. Delivery: Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules. Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time. Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks. Problem-Solving: Resolve any related problems that arise and escalate any complex operational issues. Quality: Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities. Business Process Improvements: Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible. Compliance: Comply with related policy and procedures and work instructions. Safety: Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
