ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED, MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN / ENGINEER, MECHANICAL BUT WITH GOOD BASIC ELECTRICAL KNOWLEDGE?

SUEZ are looking for a Maintenance Technician with experience in a production / manufacturing environment, who is capable of carrying out both reactive and planned (PPM) maintenance on machinery including conveyors, motors and gearboxes.

On offer is a base salary of £46,174.07 per annum, with additional benefits including 10% annual bonus, 3 x life assurance policy, 5% employer pension and 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holiday.
The role is 45 hours per week Monday - Friday: 9 hour shifts (between 6am-6pm - varying start and finish times on a rota basis). On call 4 days on rotation one week on, one week off (out of hours).

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

To join us in this key position, you’ll have a predominantly Mechanical background with basic Electrical knowledge, ideally with an Engineering Apprenticeship (or equivalent experience).

You’ll have worked / be working in a Maintenance Engineer / Technician role in manufacturing / production engineering environments, having gained hands on knowledge of equipment including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics with any basic electrical fault finding experience highly beneficial.

  • Ideally qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ level 3.
  • The ability to use Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is highly desirable.
  • IOSH is highly desirable, but not essential and can be gained
