Job Summary:
The Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer will act as a “liaison” between R&D and manufacturing, working closely with engineers to review and release new mechanical designs, and to modify existing ones. Part of the review process is analyzing the design for manufacturability. They will work with Quality to address manufacturing issues and coordinate with vendors, making changes and improvements as necessary and documenting through the QMS process. This Engineer will be responsible for maintaining a database of files for released projects. The role will also work closely with the Quality department for QMS and process documentation, while also looking for root cause analysis and process improvements.
