POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Package Manager to oversee the mechanical packages on our flagship data center project in London. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience managing mechanical systems within data center or similar large-scale infrastructure projects. You will coordinate design, procurement, and installation activities to ensure project milestones, safety, and quality standards are achieved.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience managing mechanical packages in data centers or large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of UK building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices
  • Proven track record of coordinating multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors
  • Proficiency in project management and design software tools
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all mechanical package activities, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Collaborate with design teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and installation
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and scope of work relevant to mechanical systems
  • Monitor progress, cost, quality, and safety performance for mechanical contractors
  • Troubleshoot issues related to design or installation challenges proactively
  • Ensure compliance with UK safety standards, building regulations, and data center-specific requirements
  • Maintain detailed documentation of progress, quality control, and safety compliance
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and stakeholders on technical and progress updates
