ABOUT THE ROLE

Black & White Engineering (B&W) is a leading MEP design consultancy. Launched in the UAE in 2007, we became an independent company in 2014 and are now a true global consultancy with offices in Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Australia.
Our engineering expertise reaches across all sectors of the construction industry, providing pragmatic and practical design solutions to ensure our projects are spatially and operationally efficient. Our design process fully considers the installation and maintenance practicalities on site.
Due to the continued expansion of our Newcastle team, we are looking to recruit a Principal Mechanical Engineer and/or Mechanical Associate Director to lead a diverse and multi-disciplined team on technically-challenging projects. Data centre experience is desired but not essential as training will be provided for candidates with strong engineering background.
Reporting to the Newcastle-based office lead, this role will be responsible for managing projects to deliver an excellent service to clients and assist on the ongoing development and growth of the business as a whole, whilst providing sound technical, design, and contract management support.
We’re looking for an experienced leader to take overall accountability for the performance of the mechanical function as part of the wider management team.
