Description
Design and develop high complex power distribution boxes for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Own and drive engineering projects to meet functional, performance, reliability, and cost requirements. Make design decisions backed with strong engineering data in areas of component selection, packaging, thermal management, and compliance to standards. Be the technical owner on engineering release via Engineering Change Management process Collaborate with PG counterparts and global stakeholders to define engineering requirements for NPI projects Provide immediate response and timely resolution to design related production issues encountered during the build process Conduct Design review to get buy-in from all cross functional teams Validate Design by defining test plans, making prototypes, developing test equipment and performing testing. Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 12 exp. Or Masters in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 10 Yrs Exp. Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and technical presentation skills. Highly proficient in 3D CAD tools such as CREO, Siemens NX, ProE, SolidWorks, and others. Hands-on experimental and design background coupled with solid engineering skills. Experience in Semiconductor industry is a plus. 1. Industry Standards and Regulations: Knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to mechanical engineering, such as ASME, ASTM, and ANSI.
