Job Summary: We are seeking a mechanical engineer with a growth mindset and superior interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate is eager to grow in their career to become an industry leader. The ideal candidate will have a key role in interacting and building relationships with clients. Responsibilities: Performs routine code review and analysis. Performs routine design calculations and sizes standard equipment. Follows design standards set by the Project Manager, Lead Engineer, and Engineer of Record. Researches and presents equipment and design options to the Project Manager, Lead Engineer, and Engineer of Record. Follows company master design standards. Ensures that the QA/QC process is followed and documented. Develops a working knowledge of all system types within their discipline. Develops knowledge of current design trends and best practices. Directs less experienced technical staff in how to perform routine design tasks and routine calculations. Trains EIT’s and designers how to perform routine calculations and system layouts. Creates project specific details, schematics, and sketches. Assembles specifications, including project specific information. Requirements You Will Need to Have: Associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field from an accredited university or college At least 4 years of related building systems design experience Proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD Microsoft Office Suite of products experience Ability to pass company and client background checks We Prefer that You Have: Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification Design your career and future with MCE! Individual employee compensation is determined with a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, knowledge, skills, geography, and performance. Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives. Sponsorship is not available.
