Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our team under a 1099 contract for a 1-year assignment. This role offers $20,000/month in compensation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing mechanical systems and packages for large-scale construction projects, with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and ensure delivery to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of mechanical project execution, from planning through turnover.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to deliver mechanical scope safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with design, construction, commissioning, and quality teams to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and standards.
• Oversee schedule, budget, and progress reporting for mechanical systems.
• Support procurement, equipment installation, and commissioning readiness.
• Ensure proper documentation, handover packages, and warranty requirements are met.
• Act as the primary point of contact for mechanical systems with the client and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Project Manager on large industrial or mission-critical construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, chilled water, utilities, etc.).
• Proven ability to manage complex schedules, budgets, and cross-disciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with construction software platforms (Procore, ACC/BIM 360, CxAlloy, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel as required for project execution.
