WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS POSITION:

  • We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sr. Engineer 2 to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Global Biscuit and Baked Snacks Pilot Plant.
  • This includes leading infrastructure/mechanical/commissioning projects, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • You will be working with technologies such as: Mixers, Industrial Linear Ovens, Rotary Sandwiching Machines, Cooling Tunnels, Pressure Cookers, Crème Kitchens, etc.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical are preferred), Engineering related field.

JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of manufacturing, R&D, operations related role; proficiency in working with AutoCad and/or SolidWorks; Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Power Point, Project.
  • Open to learning budget software management tools: SAP, Coupa, Tungsten.
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills; basic understanding and/or open to learn about motors, VFD’s, electrical panels, etc.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and function effectively in a highly demanding environment.
  • Ability to interact effectively with outside vendors, production operators, team leads, and the maintenance trades.
