We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team in Meath.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of mechanical systems tailored to client requirements
Ensure designs comply with all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and statutory building regulations
Carry out site inspections, technical analyses, and detailed design work
Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure timely project completion
Provide expert technical support, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers and staff
Support production and operations to ensure solutions align with design intent and performance criteria
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying potential risks and opportunities
Requirements
Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
At least 10 years’ professional experience, with 5+ years in a senior engineering or client-facing capacity
In-depth understanding of relevant standards, codes, and quality assurance systems
Proficiency in design and modelling software such as SolidWorks, DraftSight, Revit, or BIM platforms
Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills
Full, clean driving license with flexibility to travel as required
