ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED MECHANICAL PROJECT MANAGER CAPABLE OF MANAGING AND DELIVERING HIGH QUALITY INSTALLATIONS, SAFELY, ON TIME, AND TO BUDGET? COULD YOU BE THE RIGHT PERSON TO JOIN OUR EXISTING PROJECT MANAGEMENT TEAM WORKING PRIMARILY FOR TIER 1 CONTRACTORS ACROSS THE SOUTH EAST OF ENGLAND?
Paine Manwaring is a long-established Mechanical and Electrical Contractor based in Worthing, with over 100 employees, and an excellent supply chain, providing a full range of MEP services from design through to installation and commissioning.
Following continued growth and a healthy pipeline of secured projects, we are now looking for an additional experienced Project Manager to join our project management team delivering commercial and industrial projects predominantly in the education, healthcare, office, and high-end residential sectors.
This is a permanent full-time position, reporting directly to the Operations Manager and Contracts Director, based in our spacious Worthing Office of 35 staff, with frequent site/project attendance.
SALARY AND BENEFITS FOR THIS POSITION ARE DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE BUT TYPICALLY INCLUDE:
· Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per year

· Oversee, manage, and coordinate the controlled and successful delivery of multiple projects.
· Collaborate with consultants & the Design Team, etc. to determine the specifications of the project and deliver accordingly.
· Overall responsibility for managing and maintaining project delivery documentation and processes by evaluating progress and preparing detailed reports as required.
· Work closely with other Project Managers to work to the construction programme ensuring that all tasks, are completed within the timeframes.
· Visit project sites regularly to measure progress and resources required to meet programme, ensuring works are coordinated, and both health and safety and quality requirements are maintained.
· Attends all key operational and commercial project meetings including H&S/Quality where necessary.
· Ensure that agreed instructions are implemented and update project staff accordingly.
· Manage and support the site team, including supply chain labour and specialist sub-contractors.
· Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.
· Maintain project financial control, compiling and presenting monthly project forecasts.

This list is not exhaustive and may be varied from time to time, you will be expected to undertake other duties as appropriate and as requested by your line manager or a director.
· The ideal candidate will need:
· Minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating or similar associated discipline.
· 2 years’ experience working in a similar role with a good understanding of HVAC, Public Health, Plumbing & Heating, Gas, and BMS/Control systems.
· Ability to understand client requirements, technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements
· A good knowledge and understanding of the various forms of NEC and JCT contracts.
· Competent IT skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
· SMSTS/SSSTS qualification or similar working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance
· Self-motivated and proactive, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
· The successful candidate will be required to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
· Hold a full current UK driving licence.
