Description
Company Description What you will need to do: Report directly to the assigned Mechanical QC Engineer and support the implementation of quality control procedures for mechanical works. Review project technical specifications, drawings, and BOQ to identify quality requirements, engineering criteria, and inspection requirements related to mechanical works. Participate in site receiving inspections of mechanical materials and equipment to verify compliance with project specifications and approved documentation. Perform fit-up inspections and final dimensional verification prior to installation and welding activities. Prepare, file, maintain, and retrieve inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation generated from inspection activities. Witness and review work performed by third-party testing, inspection, and NDT companies related to mechanical activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements. Attend and support client inspections and testing activities within the assigned area of responsibility. Identify incomplete work or defective materials and raise punch list items for corrective actions. Prepare punch lists for completed mechanical works and follow up until all items are satisfactorily closed. Assist construction personnel in identifying quality issues, potential problems, and non-conformances related to mechanical works. Report and escalate non-conforming work to the Mechanical QC Engineer and/or QC Manager for further action. Ensure that all measuring and testing instruments used for inspection activities are properly calibrated and functional. Perform additional related duties as assigned by the QC Engineer or QC Manager. What you will need to have: Bachelor Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Having a total experience of min. 5 years in the Oil & Gas industry Hands- on experience in Inspection of piping, static equipment, rotating equipment, valves and associated mechanical systems.
