THE SKILLS YOU WILL BRING:

• The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and be either a registered P.Eng in Alberta or eligible for registration with APEGA. Candidates with an EIT designation will also be considered.
• 2–10 years of relevant engineering/project experience in an industrial environment.
• Personal commitment to working safely and protecting the safety of others
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability & confidence to initiate actions with a sense of urgency driving for high quality, sustainable results
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (SAP preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to wear all required safety equipment.
• Access confined space entries for RCFA investigations.
• It is an expectation that you will relocate within driving distance (approx. 60 km) from the mill by your start date to ensure you are available for support as needed and when necessary.
