Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring for a Mechanical Seibi Engineering Technician role for a temporary assignment in Liberty, NC.
This position is a 12-months assignment, with potential to extend. The pay range for this role is between $50.00 - $70.00/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Toyota’s Production Engineering Battery Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Seibi (Maintenance Engineering Technician) Technician Position.
  • The primary responsibility of this position is to execute as the North American machine set up personnel (SV), increase Operation Availability (OA) through continuous improvement and problem-solving technical issues. This role will also support the Battery department’s objective to execute Capital Projects from planning thru Start of Production (SOP).
  • This position will be located at TBMNC in Liberty, NC and report to the Seibi Manager for Battery

QUALIFICATION/LICENSURE

Work Authorization : Green Card, US Citizen

Responsibilities
  • Test and repair electrical equipment or systems. (Involving circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, servo drives, etc.)
  • Strong ability to write, program, troubleshoot, modify and/or repair programmable logic controllers, robotics, cameras, and other electronic equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair safety systems, machine components hydraulic and pneumatic.
  • Plan and execute machine integration into mass production, leveling, adjustment and quality conformation for assigned work area.
  • Perform basic administrative skills including documentation of work performed by written/electronic methods.
  • Ability to problem solve and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Develop denwacho (detail schedule) for assigned work area / project.
  • Participate in project planning with Engineering.
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn new processes.
  • Supporting Machine production trials at vendors and internal to Toyota
  • Certify Safety of Equipment per MMR/MMS (NFPA79 and ISO standards) via “Safety Integrity Check
