Description

Our client is a leading HVAC subcontractor. With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality results, they pride themselves on creating innovative and inspiring workspaces for their clients. They are looking for a non-working mechanical senior site manager join their team, working on a 14 week project in Dartford commencing 5th May 2025.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all mechanical aspects of the commercial fit-out project, acting as the link between the contractor and subcontractor project manager.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring they are performing in line with project requirements.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to the on-site mechanical team, ensuring their work is executed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with other site managers and project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other trades.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the project.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure work is being carried out to the required standards.
  • Collaborate with the project team to troubleshoot any mechanical issues that may arise and provide innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager, preferably in commercial fit-out projects.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in HVAC systems, including installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
  • Hold a valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) accreditation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
  • A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce compliance on site.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach with a focus on delivering high-quality results within project constraints.

Salary and Benefits: The salary range for this position is £290 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
