Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

Boeing Commercial Modifications EASA in Dublin, Ireland are looking for a Mechanical Stress Engineer to support the certification of aircraft modifications to demonstrate compliance with relevant regulatory and customer requirements and procedures defined in the company’s Design Organization Handbook (DOH).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Structures Engineering Manager and working with the global engineering team contributing to certification activities to ensure compliance with design requirement

  • sIdentify requirements and their associated solutions for active and upcoming project
  • sCompile and review structural substantiation documents for product certification and integration of:New seating installation

    • sNew monument and furniture Installations such as Galleys, Lavatories, class dividers, first class suites and VVIP furnishin
  • gCabin interior changes including LOPAs, Passenger Service Unit layouts, LRU installations, etc
  • .Primary structure changes including:Antenna Installation


    • sFuselage Modificatio

    • nAct as Boeing representative during customer facing program milestones such as ITCM, PDR, CDR and FAI in support of active and up-coming project
