POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Operate moving equipment, forklift and overhead cranes
• Grinding, fitting, heating, bending, fastening of materials used during manufacturing process
• Operate hand tools and measuring devices to build various components

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or general equivalency
• Experience working around metal machining equipment and operating a forklift
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to work within strict established safety and work guidelines/rules to complete job
• Ability to pass the required written examinations, read and understand safety instructions, rules, regulations and other written or printed material in English

As Mechanical Support you will work in a production environment assisting in the manufacturing of various components used in railway, ranging from wheel, axle or bearing production, track maintenance and car/locomotive repair. The successful applicant must be mechanically inclined.
