QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Systems.
• 5+ years mechanical coordination experience (high-rise preferred).
• Strong understanding of plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM coordination software.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Systems Coordinator to join our high-rise construction team. You will oversee the design review, coordination, and installation of all building mechanical and plumbing systems, including HVAC, hydronic, fire protection, storm, and domestic water.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and coordinate mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC shop drawings.
• Oversee installation of boilers, pumps, ERVs, and mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with BC Plumbing Code, NFPA-13, ASHRAE, and NECB.
• Manage smoke control and pressurization systems.
• Liaise with consultants, trades, and inspectors during commissioning.
