Description Based in Titusville, FL, C Speed’s Engineering Services Group is a high-end supplier of contract engineering services and solutions. We are a Radar OEM specializing in mechanical and electrical engineering, Radar systems and custom software development, and Software Quality Assurance. Job Description: We are looking for a detail-orientated individual to fill the role of ‘Mechanical Technician’ with hydraulic experience for our Titusville, FL facility. This role is a full-time position and will be an integral team member supporting Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS) Program sustainment activities and other programs. This individual will inspect, assemble, and test new mechanical/ hydraulic components and assess, diagnosis, repair, and test existing mechanical/ hydraulic components in need of sustainment. The Mechanical Technician will work under the direction of the Test Lab Manager and assist Engineering teams. This position may require occasional travel to other C Speed facilities or customer sites. Job Responsibilities: Assemble and repair mechanical/ hydraulic products for compliance with engineering requirements, company standards, and related specifications. Accomplishes tasks within the priorities of the programs as directed by the Test Lab Manager. Applies knowledge of mechanical/ hydraulics principles while reviewing mechanical engineering drawings, work instructions, specifications, and other documentation. Contributes to the design process by suggesting redline changes to mechanical technical documentation. Performs inspections, troubleshoots and repairs mechanical assemblies. Fabricates, disassembles, and reassembles hydraulic machines to improve efficiency. Utilize mechanical drawings and hydraulic diagrams to verify that assemblies were built to specifications. Other duties as assigned Requirements Required Qualifications: High School Degree or equivalent 5+ years of relevant experience working with mechanical/ hydraulic component Training from Military or Technical Trade School Ability to read mechanical drawings and hydraulic diagrams Proficient working in Microsoft Office, to include Excel, Database, Outlook and Word Ability to obtain & maintain a secret level clearance A positive attitude with a flexible, can-do mentality Self-starter and motivated to contribute to process improvements Able to obtain and maintain Security Clearance May require some travel
