Responsibilities
  • Assess, detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults across our vehicle fleet
  • Dismantle engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components to thoroughly check for wear and replacement requirements
  • Mechanically repair and replace worn and defective parts across our fleet and reassemble mechanical components
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance services across our fleet, including oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve safe and efficient running of our fleet
  • Test all mechanical parts after being repaired to ensure repairs are adequately completed
  • Inspect our fleet daily for roadworthiness and maintain records of inspections carried out
  • Respond to vehicle breakdowns and conduct off-site repairs as required
  • Maintain high standards of practice and awareness in relation to Quality Assurance and safety management
  • Uphold compliance management for Safe Work Systems for all maintenance activities on the site
  • Support with the transportation of product as required and load and unload product
  • Operate manual handling equipment in accordance with SOP
  • Conduct general housekeeping to ensure worksite safety is adhered t
