EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant degree
  • 5 years of experience in a similar position

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Advanced French, both spoken and written
  • Intermediate English, both spoken and written
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and hydraulic plans
  • Technical skills in electromechanics (an asset)
  • Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex mechanical problems on site, including in emergency situations
  • Ability to accurately document interventions, anomalies, and actions taken, with clear and structured reports
  • Ability to prioritize emergencies and plan interventions based on customer needs, while optimizing travel
  • Focus on customer satisfaction with a proactive approach to solving problems and meeting needs
  • Attention to detail and compliance with safety and quality standards in all interventions
  • Ability to adapt to the unexpected, whether emergencies, changing working conditions, or technical adjustments
  • Although often alone in the field, ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with other team members to share information or feedback

Responsibilities

YOUR TASKS

As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for mechanical and hydraulic maintenance, inspections, and repairs for our customers, who are mainly located in Eastern Canada. Your role also includes writing technical reports and taking emergency calls on a rotating basis with the team. You will play a major role in customer satisfaction by working on a variety of mechanical installations and ensuring rigorous follow-up.
