Overview Element has an opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to develop your career within a Global TIC business. Salary: $21- $29/hr DOE Responsibilities Interpretation of internal and client requirements Operating complex mechanical testing equipment Maintaining accurate and systematic records Performing other duties to fulfil the demands of the laboratory Performing general duties in accordance with Element's internal procedures, quality as well as Health and Safety system Application of instrumentation and the setting up of complex data capture equipment Report writing, data interpretation and analysis Skills / Qualifications HS Diploma or GED required Hands-on job Sound mechanical skills Experience with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers Experience of working within a Mechanical testing environment is advantageous An understanding of a recognised Quality Management Systems such as ISO 17025 is beneficial Self motivated Technician with the ability to multi task, organise and work under the pressure of a busy commercial mechanical test laboratory Excellent attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills A team player attitude Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Ability to read and understand technical documents such as ASTM specifications Diversity Statement At Element, we always take pride in putting our people first.
